More Binder Stuff - Flute (freebies)
There is so much I want to put in the band binder this year. I want to arm my students with as much information as possible. I've been scouring the internet for great handouts. Today's post is going to be much of the flute handouts I've found - from posture, to instrument assembly, to instrument care, to fingering charts, to warm-ups, etc.
The Selmer Teacher's Guide for Flute by Charles Delaney is very thorough and comprehensive. It includes just about all you will need for your students.
Jennifer Cluff has a great website with great handouts (www.jennifercluff.com). Here is her handout for flute assembly and posture.
Here is her handout on flute care:
Here is her "Top Ten Secrets of Great Flute Playing" sheet.
Here is her fingering chart.
She also has a blank fingering chart so you can have the kids fill in the fingerings as a quiz or test.
Here are some Flute Tone Warm-ups.
I also got some Daily Drill pages from the Duncanville Band website a few years ago. Here is the first page of the Flute Concept Sheet.
Here is the second page.
Here is the Flute Daily Drill page.
There are so many great resources out there. I will upload the double reed files tomorrow.
